Ernakulam Branch of SIRC of ICAI has constituted study groups with the objective of refining professional skills on various subjects such as
Study Group 1: Accounting Standards, Auditing & Assurance Standards, Ethical Standards,
Study Group 2: Direct Tax
Study Group 3: Goods and Services Tax
Study Group 4: Corporate Law/ Insolvency & Bankruptcy, Valuation, MSME & Start-ups.
The proposed forum will help members to discuss various matters relating to the above subjects, thereby members get updated with the latest changes, strengthen interpersonal relations and professional expertise. It is also envisaged to discuss and analyse changes or modifications in laws or provisions newly introduced, budgets, exposure drafts of ICAI etc and give suggestions to the branch for submission to ICAI or other authorities.
